The beginning of a long conversation

I've been thinking a lot about what it means to be the church in today's society. Where denominations fit in, how services should be run, where the gifts of the Spirit (such as tongues and prophecy) belong, how pastoral staffs should look, how many big of an administration should a church have, ect... Anyways, it's where I am and there will definitely be much more and longer posts after New Year -- because I'll will have just finished hopefully two books on the Church as well as had some bomb conversations with Trevor and Solomon.

So for starters: denominations, your thoughts?
